This article describes how to add a new mail account in Mozilla Thunderbird 2.

Thunderbird1. Click Tools and click Account Settings.
Account Settings2. Click the Add Account button. This will start the Account Wizard.
Account Wizard3. Click the Next button.
Account Wizard4. Fill in the Your Name and Email Address fields. Click Next when you’re done.
Account Wizard5. Fill in the Incoming Server and Outgoing Server fields. Click Next when you’re done.
Account Wizard6. Fill in the Incoming User Name field and click Next. The Incoming User Name is the user name used to login to your mail server.
Account Wizard7. Fill in the Account Name field and click Next. The Account Name is used as a descriptive name for this mail account.
Account Wizard8. Click the Finish button to end the wizard and click Ok to close the Account Settings window.
