Dear Sir,

I face some problem accessing my company mail server ( Webmail also running on Linux ) when behind my Squid Proxy server. ( configured IE or Firefox to use port 3128 ) The following is the error message. But if I don't use the Squid proxy server, I can access my company Webmail.

I use this link to install & configure my Squid Proxy Server : http://www.linuxmail.info/squi…..tup-howto/

My Squid proxy configuration is very straight forward. Nothing fancy. What could be the problem……?

Anyone can help…..?

Hi,

That means your proxy server cannot access your SquirrelMail web server. Log into the proxy server machine and from there try to access your SquirrelMail server.

Dear Sir,

Yes, you are right.      After followed your advice by disable SELinux.  I can access my company Webmail already. ( mail.silicon.com.my/webmail ) It can prompt me the login screen for me to enter username & password.

Ofcos why SELinux block  only my company site……I got no ideal. ( sinply disable SELinux that is the only way )

Ofcos on how to really solve by configuring SELinux……I got no ideal. ( becos I'm very new to Linux, still slowly picking up )

I really appriciate you help.

TQ.
