I am trying to set up virtual users with postfix and dovecot. I followed the instructions in the "Static DB Virtual Users in Postfix and Dovecot" tutorial. When I try to test dovecot using telnet I receive an authentication error. Any idea why this is happening?

Hi,

 

Comment out any passdb section except static, it may be using a different passdb lookup.
