I had done the guideline and can access to squirrelmail, i can send and receive mail inside the system with two different user account..

The problem is…I running Cent OS on VM Player, the primary OS is windows 7…i want to access to my mail server with Thunderbird or other mail client via Windows 7..Need help on SMTP and IMAP/POP3 setting on server, anyway to publish it over local area network ?

Make sure you are using network bridging in VM Player. Next give your server an IP address and your done.

i had set to Bridged : Connected directly to the physical network..

But the connection inside Cent OS is disable..i cant browse to http://www.google.com using web browser.

Do i have to do some configuration on Windows side ? or ???

Thanks….need it for my Final Year Diploma Project..

I'm not familiar with your internet setup. In the meantime, use NAT if that is what works for you. Then just forward port 25 to it. There should be a NAT tab in vmnetcfg in Windows where you can configure port forwarding.
