Hello,

I am getting a "postfix/smtpd warning:queue file size limit exceeded" error in my /var/log/maillog for messages that are bigger then 15MB even though mymessage_size_limit = 20480000.

 

/etc/postfix/main.cf

inet_protocols = ipv4
smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
                permit_mynetworks
                reject_unauth_destination
                check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:2501
content_filter = smtp:[127.0.0.1]:2526
message_size_limit=20480000

Any ideas what to look?

Hi asustic,

 

If you are sending 15MB attachments, the message size after base-64 encoding will be over 20MB.

Thanks consultant for your reply. Does that mean if I increase message_size_limit to say 30MB the 20MB mail attachment would go through?
