Hello all,

 

I'm sure theres something I'm not doing right and its probably something simple. I can't seem to get outlook to connect to the server instead of using squrrelmail. Any suggestions on where to start looking? 

 

I get this error when trying to set up the account in outlook

-ERR plaintext authentication disallowed on non-secure (ssl/tls) connections.

Hi ewilman,

 

In dovecot.conf, set disable_plaintext_auth = no and restart dovecot.
