A workmate that already quit followed this tutorials *CentOS dovecot + postfix + LDAP(Active Directory

in this case)* and we currently have one problem. The delivered file has Read and write permissions only

for the AD user who received the mail, while Squirrel Mail *and dovecot* use vmail's to retrieve it…. therefore

not having the permissions needed.

I need to change the delivery permissions to vmail or a known user, or make the retrival vary with the logged user.

How?

Hi Efaj,

See Active Directory/LDAP Virtual Users and make sure Postfix is properly configured.

You need to make sure the line below is present

virtual_mailbox_domains = $mydomain

If $mydomain is not the same as the domain you are using, then specify it there. Ex.

virtual_mailbox_domains = example.com

Postfix has to be configured to use vmail.
