Hi,

 

We have the following installed in our mail server

Postfix 2.3.3, ClamAV, Spamassasin, Dovecot and Squirrelmail on CentOS 5

The mail server is integrated with Microsoft AD Server.  We need to upgrade the Postfix to the Latest available stable release. We have downloaded and build (make upgrade). After completing the make, when we check for the version for Postfix, it still shows 2.3.3. If anyone can throw some light on upgrading the Postfix from 2.3.3 to 2.7 will be of great help.

Hi rohiniskumar,

 

Make only builds the Postfix rpm so you still need to install the newly created Postfix rpm.
