Linux Mail Server Setup and Howto Guide

Hi,

I've read some interesting how-to's articles about setting up LDAP, Email server, SSH, and etc using Centos in this website.

To shorter, I am going to configure POP3, IMAP, DNS, LDAP, SSH. Before that, I want to do demonstration using Virtual Machine (VMWare/Virtualbox).

Let say, I have "two" Centos 5.5s as server in my vmware. Then, how can I manage those services? Which services that should be separated to reduce the CPU and memory loads.

In my opinion,

My first server will have POP3 and IMAP services.

My second server will have DNS, LDAP, SSH services.

After that, I also stuck with LDAP configuration to manage/authenticate the other service (POP3, IMAP, and SSH). Have you advice on that? or tutorials?

How about your opinion? And what is your reason? I need your help in advance.
