Linux Mail Server Setup and Howto Guide

Hi, I've installed the openldap-servers/clients via yum, and that seems to have gone ok.  I opened slapd.conf in vi and was looking to edit:

suffix "dc=acme,dc=local"
rootdn "cn=manager,dc=acme,dc=local"
rootpw password

but I didn't see it. Does one just throw it in there? Does it matter where?

I'm doing this via Putty.

BTW, I really like this forum.  Can someone tell me what it is?

Yes, it is CentOS. It's a 1and1 VPS.  I used yum install openldap-servers and openldap-clients and I can't remember the exact versions, but it was the 64 bit versions.  The slapd.conf has a lot of stuff in it, but it just didn't have the lines I mentioned.  I was thinking that maybe since this was a 64 bit version that maybe whoever created the slapd.conf file for this version was thinking that someone using it might have previous experience? Maybe?
