I followed these instructions (http://www.linuxmail.info/ad-f…..ync-howto/). But, I am getting this error on the windows side (see below) and I hve been in google hell trying to find out how to resolve.
ldaperr:dsid-0c0907c9: error processing control data 0 vece.
I cannot find out what is wrong and I am going a little bit insane here.

Nm! I got it. But, I do have a question – is there anyway I can sync existing passwords? Looks like I need to change passwords in order for them to "sync".

Hi jenniegirl,
Sorry but there's no way to sync the existing password which is securely stored and hashed in Windows. Changing passwords is the only way.

Hi Josh,
It's probably a permission problem. Try adding your synchronization account under Domain Admins. If it works, give that account "Synchronize directory service data" permission.
