Hi all,

I am setup Fedora Directory Server complete, but i don't know how to join windows client into this Fedora Directory Server.Cool

I hope every body help me!

Hi messi655,

Sorry, but Fedora Directory Server does not have that feature. FDS is a plain vanilla LDAP server, nothing more, nothing less. An LDAP server is a server that email and other programs use to look up information. What you need is an Active Directory Server.

  • LDAP directory service
  • Kerberos authentication
  • DNS naming
  • User and network resource management

and many others. Learn how to setup Active Directory in Windows Server 2008 or Active Directory in Windows Server 2003
