Hello,

I have tried to follow the steps in Active Directory and Cyrus SASL Authentication

But when issue the command: testsaslauthd -u testpostfix1 -p test -r s3solutions.com.vn -s smtp

I get error "0: NO authentication failed". Please let me know how I can fix this.

Hi Toan,

  • Is the user name and password correct?
  • Did the kinit step succeeded?
  • You may not be using Postfix, edit the file /etc/pam.d/smtp instead

Thanks for the reply.

The username and password is correct. kinit work successful as well. The issue is that I modified the smtp.postfix file instead smtp. It works fine now.
