Hi All,

I am trying to sync password from AD to 389DR. I have followed most of the steps accurately in the articles provided on this site including the certificate installation. I was able to run the SSL test successfully. I am able to sync user's from AD to 389DR but cant get there passwords synched. On the windows 2003 i get the common error "cant connect to ldap server in sync passwords. 

my Passsync config is something like this

Hostname  - fedora.xyz.com (Centos5.5)
Port Number 636
User Name uid=smaster,cn=config 
Password xyz123
Cert Token xyz123
Search Base dc=xyz,dc=com
Has anyone faced this issue? I am looking at this from AD only.. not sure if the error is from 389 DR. In the error logs after running synch i dont see any errors.
I will appreciate any input. Thanks!
