Is there a similler howto to synchronize the AD server to an ldap server instead of the 389 server?

No, the 389 Directory Server is the only open source directory server I know which includes native synchronization support for Active Directory.

Thanks for reply.

 

I tried to install the 389 Directory Server on Debian lenny using the pre-built rpms for Fedora Core several times, but always fail in the last step where it is supposed to create the start/stop scripts. Are there any debian pre-built packages for the 389 Directory Server? I need to replicate all the data in our old AD server and replace it with Linux ldap server.
