This article describes how to setup a new mail account in Evolution.


1. Click
Edit and click
Preferences. This will launch the
Evolution Preferences window.


2. Click
Add. This will start the
Evolution Account Assistant wizard.


3. Click
Forward in the
Mail Configuration page.


4. Fill in the
Identity page and click
Forward when you are done.


5. Select
POP for the
Server Type and fill in
Server and
Username fields. You can check
Remember password if you want Evolution to save your password.


6. Review the settings in the
Receiving Options page and click
Forward when you are done.


7. Fill in the
Server field. You can check
Remember password if you want Evolution to save your password. Click
Forward when you are done.


8. Provide a descriptive name in the
Name field and click
Forward when you are done.


9. Click
Apply.
